Concord is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Concord follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I stopped by for a quick workout and spent some time walking and running around the park. There are several fitness stations scattered throughout the trails, making it easy to mix in some strength exercises during your workout. The park also features a playground, picnic areas, a basketball court, and plenty of walking and running trails. There’s even a pond with turtles, which is a nice touch if you enjoy nature. Whether you’re looking to exercise, relax, or spend time outdoors with family, this is a great park to visit.

This review is specifically for the disc golf course that is located in this park. It is a nine-hole course that winds mostly through the woods but there are a few holes in open areas. The holes that are in the wooded areas are quite challenging as the fairways are pretty narrow and overgrown. I would recommend paying close attention to where your discs go as we came close to losing a couple along the way. There are also a couple of holes where it will be pretty swampy with a lot of rain. It was to a problem for us when we visited as we are in a drought but even with the drought, a hole or two were pretty soggy. With rain, there is also a hole or two where a river could come into play. You definitely need to bring your technical skills with you for this course. While we were there, it looked like there may have been a couple of park employees surveying the course; perhaps looking to make improvements or even add holes. A nice park with an okay course; worth playing if you are in the area.

Such a beautiful place to walk, enjoy your day, bring your dog, or just appreciate being alive. My Grandfather was a Vietnam Veteran and he was my favorite person. I love that this park is right around the corner from my home. There is so much to do here including disc golf, riding your bike, picnics, walking trails, kids parks, basketball courts, etc.

Great place for kids, families and groups to rent a shelter and grilling. Multiple playgrounds, swings, covered shelters, restrooms and a pond. Walking trails and bike trails. Basketball court, volleyball with sand, bleachers, a lot of seating under the shelters. Great for camps, church picnics , birthday parties ( many playgrounds on site). Super clean. They have a pond with turtles and ducks you can feed ( small fee to purchase duck food). There is a walkway around the pond. Beautiful place to take photos. Have a lunch date ( multiple park benches). A lot of people walking and exercising on the walking trails
